With a self-tacking jib, furling genoa and a reliable engine, Vindile also invites to family sailing
Racer with cruising qualities
Vindile does not require a super sharp and full-fledged racing crew to sail. In recent years, we have often been just one or two adults and have had fantastic sailing and nature experiences. At the same time we have been very happy to note that we have sailed past most yachts with our self-tacking jib.
Of course, it is more spartan than the motor homes with a mast. No full standing height, fairly simple interior but with charm and patina. We can sleep 4 - 7 people with a private bunk in the stern.
Despite a draft of 2.01 meters Vindile has no problem to reach the shore where others fail as Vindile has significantly more metres from stern to keel than other yachts.
The autopilot provides the opportunity to calmly adjust the sails, be on the foredeck if desired and still navigate safely.
With all the halyards and trim lines pulled to the cockpit it is even easy to sail Vindile alone.
